Julia Mitric is an audio documentarian and independent radio producer whose work has been featured on NPR and public radio stations throughout the U.S. Julia’s recent documentary work includes Hidden Hunger, regional winner of the 2015 Edward R. Murrow documentary award. Hidden Hunger explores the impact of food insecurity on a school community in California’s state capital. If Julia wasn’t working in public media, chances are she’d be running an underground supper club out of the converted barn in her backyard.
